Community Service
Beyond the law, Attorney Hines uses her expertise in serving the community. She serves on various boards and organizations in the Greater Washington, D.C. area. She is currently serving on the Board of Directors of Ministries of Hope, a non-profit organization founded to help the homeless transform their lives. She serves as the Community Outreach Coordinator for the D.C. Bar Tort Law section. As Outreach Coordinator, she has provided pro bono legal services to those in need in underserved communities and encouraged other lawyers to volunteer their time.
She volunteers as Treasurer and is a member of the Trustee Board for Historic Lincoln Congregational Temple Church.
She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, a public service sorority.
She is often asked to speak before community groups in the Washington D.C. area. She is commited to providing the public with up to date developments in the law.
